The Process
How It Works

Getting tattooed at Battleship is a collaboration. We keep things simple and straightforward so you know exactly what to expect every step of the way. Here's what you can count on when you book with us

  • Clear communication from day one, starting with your consultation

  • Artist guidance to refine your concept and get you ready for your tattoo appointment

  • Clear aftercare instructions to heal your tattoo beautifully and keep it looking amazing for the long haul.

1. Consultation

Email us to book your consultation or stop by the shop. Send us your ideas and reference images and we will go through everything together to bring your tattoo vision to life.

2. Book Your Appointment

Once you've chosen your artist, we'll lock in your appointment and get the ball rolling. Your artist will begin crafting a custom design tailored to your vision, so when the big day comes, you're ready to sit down and make it real.

3. Get Your Tattoo

Come prepared so you can sit comfortably and enjoy the process. Arrive well-hydrated and have a solid meal a few hours before your appointment. For longer sessions, bring water and a snack to keep your energy up. And skip the alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand. (Your skin and your artist) will thank you.
